My belt was squeaking too, even though I had the proper tension and both sides of the adjusters were turned counter clockwise on the screws, to the same amount of indicator lines on the fork! The wheel also appeared to be centered by sighting and fender gap!

OK I took different route, by lifting the wheel off the ground, by placing the frame on a block of wood. Now I revolved the wheel (in the direction of travel) and noticed the belt creeping to one side of the pulley. I adjusted the wheel (axle) until the belt wondered hap-hazardly on the pulley and did not seek out one side or the other
(a neutral alignment). Low and behold never another squeak!!!
